Funding the Mission

A gift to Greater St. Louis Honor Flight is a wonderful way to honor those who sacrificed so much for our great nation. We are enriching veterans’ lives, but we cannot do it without your help. We welcome and appreciate your support of the mission of Greater St. Louis Honor Flight and we offer opportunities to give at any level.

Honoring Our Veterans

The Mission of Greater St. Louis Honor Flight is to recognize our veterans – most urgently our World War II veterans – with a day of honor, remembrance and celebration. We do this with a one-day, all-expenses paid trip to Washington, DC to visit the World War II Memorial, built to honor their service and sacrifice.

Honor Flight is a heartwarming documentary about four living World War II veterans and a Midwest community coming together to give them a trip of a lifetime. Volunteers race against the clock to fly thousands of WWII veterans to Washington, DC to see the memorial constructed for them in 2004, nearly 60 years aer their epic struggle.
