On this night, we will honor our veterans, especially those who served on June 6th, 1944 in the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. Codenamed Operation Neptune, this historic battle is often referred to as D-Day. We will be joined by Keynote Speaker, David Eisenhower, grandson of the 34th President of the United States and five-star general commander of Allied forces in Europe, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Also, Greater St. Louis Honor Flight veterans who were in combat on D-Day. You will hear stories of their bravery and sacrifice, and learn more about their lives post WWII.

Proceeds for this event will directly fund the mission of our organization to recognize our veterans – most urgently our World War II veterans – with a day of honor, remembrance and celebration. We do this with a one day, all-expenses paid trip to Washington, DC to visit the World War II Memorial, built to honor their service and sacrifice.

“My heartfelt thanks to Greater St. Louis Honor Flight crew for the opportunity you gave me to visit our nations Capital and most importantly our own World War II Memorial. I certainly enjoyed the entire day which was full of pleasant surprises. It is nice to know that many people in the USA appreciate what we did 66 years ago and take the time to say ‘Thanks’.”
