Thank You

We began 2020 with high expectations of another great year, which included plans to become the first Honor Flight in the nation to complete 100 missions. We landed in Washington, D.C. on March 3rd, a chilly and rainy day, accompanied by a videographer who filmed us all day. We were privileged to be the first Honor Flight of 2020. We had veterans scheduled for three more flights.

And then the world stopped!

Greater St. Louis Honor Flight is hoping to resume flights in the spring, and you can help us be able to do that by making a donation during this year-end appeal. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. We are a 501c3 charitable organization and our Tax ID is 30-0551755. “We Believe Everyday Is Veterans’ Day.” Special thanks to Veterans Anderson, Kevrick, Boemer and Phillips for sharing their thoughts of their day of honor.

Thank you so much for your continuing support of our mission.

“My heartfelt thanks to Greater St. Louis Honor Flight crew for the opportunity you gave me to visit our nations Capital and most importantly our own World War II Memorial. I certainly enjoyed the entire day which was full of pleasant surprises. It is nice to know that many people in the USA appreciate what we did 66 years ago and take the time to say ‘Thanks’.”

“I want to offer my most sincere thanks to all the volunteers who so freely gave their time. You provided the lucky Veterans who flew that day the most pleasurable, perfect, and memorable day we will ever experience.”

“Last year my father had the thrill of a lifetime when Veterans from his assisted living facility went on the Honor Flight. It was one of the best days of his life and he felt truly honored.”
